Is clear that chinese CT clones are cheap and some of them performs well :-)
When I started with this "project" few years ago, situation was not like today.

Anyway it's a challenge for me and makes fun. I'm posting results just to let
people know. Maybe there are more "freaks" like me ...

ilda test pattern running 28Kpps @ 8° optical (+/- 4°) doesn't look bad,
but if you look at X and Y pulses, there is little over and undershoot visible.

G120Amp10 is working. ILDA Test Pattern is running well 24Kpps @ 20° optical (+/- 10°).
Parts CC,RC,CN,RN mentioned in enclosed schematics must be added to PCB according enclosed picture.
H-Bridge is stable. Details about design in enclosed simulation using TinaTI (free).

update zu G120Amp. einige besserungen sind da.
zur zeit nicht getestet, aber if hoffe ich werde bald zeit zu testen haben.
hauptsache ist funtionalitat von h-bridge.

verbesserungen:
- high frequency damping is weg (wirklich nicht notig fur G120D)
- eingang ist simpler
- pre-emphasis ist zu ...

it's not so difficult to have temperature stability of 0.1°C. I'm not the scientist.
I treat myself more as application engineer. I used only public available resources

Really nice work the new CNI driver with possibility of cooling/heating.

But:

On original driver (9pol connector) is NTC thermistor and TEC connected
with one common wire which is conntected to GND. This is same for LD
and also for crystal. See enclosed picture.

With original +5VDC ...

Meine galvos sind durch alu-chasis "grounded".
Ich habe mit meinem setup nie probleme mit "grounding" gehabt.

Meine Wiring und Netzteil bespiele.

Gento hat ganz schone ergebnisse :-)

In betrieb bleibt die Temperatur unter 35 °C.

Es ist nicht dirket auf Alu-Chasis montiert.
Warme von Kuhlkorper geht nicht an Alu-Chasis.

Hier in Slowakei sind die J112 nicht so exotisch.
Ersatz typ kann 2N5459 sein. Auch exotisch bei dir :-).

Fur OPA544 is vielleicht besser R9=1Ohm,
C12= 10nF (nicht 220nF wie bei LM675).

Fur ideale boucherot werte immer datasheet lesen !

Anderung: C43 weg (war 1nF), R21 soll 10k sein ...

Ich habe dieses problem auch mit 7915 von ST gehabt.
79xx von ST muss man zuerst belasten und dann OUT spannung messen !
Das habe ich schon ausprobiert und es hat funtioniert.
Iout cca 20mA dann messen (min. ist 5mA).

Also ich schreibe nur was ich mit meinen klienen Oszi
gemessen habe (ich probiere ein bild zu machen).

Zum testen habe ich ILDA test bild benutzt. Ich habe gelesen
das man ILDA test bild nur bei 12K benutzen kann.

Ich habe aber 18K gelaufen 20 grad optisch (nicht full angle = 40 grad ...

Noch kurze info zu preemphasis.
Preemphasis ist fur error signal Verr gemacht.
Amplitude-Frequency charakteristik sieht man auf das bild.

Es kann sicher besser gemacht werden

aber prinzipiel
funktionert es auch so.

und ILDA test bild lauft schon bei 18K pps bei 20 deg. optical.
Wie ich gelesen habe (http://www.meos.com/PDF/ENP28.pdf)
kann G120D bei 40 deg. optical (peak to peak) nur 12K.

Leider habe ich nicht geschaft gute bilder ...

Can you shortly explain what is the purpose of using H Bridge to drive
Galvos ? In Audio amplifiers it is used to have higher voltage swing at output load.

This is probably an old topic, but I'm using LSD1000 on Amiga 1200
without any problems. Of course blanking is not available

But you can
