Hi Leutz,

hat jemand von euch mal die alte Pango auf dem Amiga laufen gehabt ? Lohnt es sich dafür, nen Amiga zu ersteigern ? Was kann die Soft (im vergleich zu meinenthalber Popelscan) ?

Hi Thorsten,

The software for the Amiga (called LSD1000) is actually quite powerful for what it was. It does not offer any blanking, and outputs through the left and right audio connections on the Amiga, but it was pretty cool.

There is one person who knows a lot about this software and, as far as I know, he still uses it today. This person is L. Michael Roberts of LaserFX. You can feel free to contact him at: lmichael@LaserFX.com

If you can find one, I recommend an Amiga 500. They are easy to modify. An Amiga 2000/2500 or Amiga 3000 may also be modified and these have a hard disk which is definitely appreciated!!

LSD1000 on Amiga

Post by pishtak » Mon 18 Apr, 2005 4:44 pm

Hi,

This is probably an old topic, but I'm using LSD1000 on Amiga 1200
without any problems. Of course blanking is not available :-( But you can
still produce nice show with it. If somebody needs help regarding Amiga, let me know, I'm an old AmigaFreak.

Bye

pishtak
