The rules:
(1) The laser show must be original and using original or "free" content. No copyrighted frames are allowed.
(2) You must show your work. Entries must be in the form of a SPGP project.
(3) There must be at least 5 SERIOUS entries for the full payout. If less than 5 entries are made then the prize value will equal to $20 x the number of entries. For example, if there are only 3 entries then the max prize will be $60. If there is only one entry then you are guaranteed to win $20.
(4) I will be the judge and I will judge it on uniqueness, best use of Spaghetti effects, and how entertaining the show is.
(5) Shows must have an accompying song (no time based shows allowed). Offensive shows will NOT win. If you are not sure if the song you choose is acceptible send me an email and ask. As long as it is not full of profanity or vulgarity it is probably OK. Song length should be greater than 2:30. There is no maximum length.
(6) Entries will be made available to the public after they are submitted. Don't submit a show if you don't want to give it away for free.
(7) Shows must be made in version 1.9.0.0 or greater.
(8) Shows should only be for a single projector with NO TTL or DMX. Shows with multiple projectors, TTL, or DMX will be judged but only on a single projector.
Deadline for show submittal is January 31, 2010. There are no entry fees or entry forms. However, I would appreciate it if you would send me an email if you plan to participate.
