M9024/widemove power supply question

Post by absolute » Sat 27 Jan, 2007 12:17 pm

Hi all,

I just bought a set of M9024 second handed, but the power supply part is missing on the circuitboard.
Could someone specify the values for C1,2 C5 R60 and most of all which trafo to use? Primary it is 2*115V but how much should the secondary side be? 2*12V or 2*15V and how many VA is it.

Thanks in advance,

Abondi

Hi Abondi,

C1,2 = 4700µF 25V
C5 = 100µF 25V
R60 = 10Ohm
Trafo: 2 x 115V ; 2 x 15V ; 30VA

This driver is designed from Jojo.

Its sold by Jojo(jmlaser.com), but not designed.
Design was by Will Benner? Or who?

@da2001:
Quote from the PCB: "(c) 1999 by MUELLER ELEKTRONIK".
My opinion is, that Joachim Müller is the designer (for the PCB :) ). Or is't it?

Will Benner or Bill Benner?
OK. I have read Bill Benner, the owner of Pangolin. Sorry.

Bill Benner (= shortform for William) has once optimized the driver configuration for the Catweazle LCII (which is the same driver).
He has not routed the board - he helped us with the design.
For that reason, I placed his name on the board.

Joachim
