Riya USB Standalone?

Hat jemand 'ne Ahnung, was bei der Riya-USB mit den zukünftigen Standalone-Eigenschaften gemeint ist?

Kann ich dann eine CF-Card reinstecken und ab geht die Show?
Oder soll das "nur" heissen, dass bei abgestürztem Computer die Bildausgabe weiterläuft...?

Hi Michael,

diese CF-Card option hätte ursprünglich mal auf der Riya drauf sein sollen, allerdings haben die sich das irgendwie wieder anders überlegt.

Der Cardslot ist nicht bestückt und soweit ich weis, ist die Option auch zukünftig nicht mehr geplant.

Oder gibt es da mittlerweile wieder Neuigkeiten ?

By the way: I'm interested! I want to use the RIYA-USB for commercial presentations. There is a "stand-alone-mode" a really feature!!!

@turbtabledj: Dann werde ich mir statt der Riya wohl den "made in Germany"-Nachbau für die Hälfte des Geldes kaufen. Der hat nur den fehlenden DMX-port als Nachteil... Und so glaube ich nur 8bit Farbe, was aber bei rein DPSS egal sein dürfte...Und er ist nackig! Gehäuse in der Größe habe ich genug hier...

Hi Ihor,

was it just me who told you that it would be a feature that it's nice to have - not more ?

During the development I was waiting about a message when the SM-Memory is supportet.
Just as I got the info, that SM will not be supportet by the USB-Controller I bougt it, cause it was the only one USB-device that was supportet by LDS at this time.
At the moment there are cheaper availiable...

Maybee a lot of Users would be glad if the RiyaUSB supports SM but not everyone told you...
