how can do on blue laser?

Post by abdpss » Thu 24 Nov, 2005 7:44 am

Hello all,
I come to get some help, I need a blue laser to combine.
I have got a green laser of 400mw from www.rumzing.com, very good qulity and stability, I am very satisfied with it.

But for my application I also need a blue laser combine with my green and red laser, it is better to be 473nm diode pumped, what power should I choose about the blue laser? 500mw or what power? where can I purchase it with GOOD QUALITY like the green one? and how much cost ?[/b]

Hi,

Rumzing also offers Blue DPSS. To get a balanced Whitelight-System you will need 800mW Blue and 1.6W Red.

Hello Thanks, I had enquried from them, Rumzing do not have so high power blue, they said they are designing now, must the green laser match with 800mw blue? is it expensive? about how much? do you know who have 1.5Watt red laser? I just have 100mw one.

Hi,

It depends on the wavelength you use - 800mw @ 473nm are very expensive and also instabil! Easier to create 600mw @ 440nm by using a diode-Laser. This is deeper blue, but its great to mix with green. Guido is right: Ask Arctos, he can sell you a Diode-Laser like this, but 600mw will be more than 10000 Euro!
For 800mw @ 473nm you can couple two 400mw lasers by using a polecube.

Good luck :D

Thank you all. Does Actos have 440nm 600mw? I visited the website, but I just saw they have 473nm highest 500mw and 600mw. please help me.

And how can I combine 2*400mw to get a 800mw? just let the two beam fucus on one point? it is feasible?

Halli Hallo

The same that Nordlicht wrote:

May you search the forum or i-net for polecube or Polwürfel.

@laser_faq: Sorry, but this is not a marketplace. If you want to offer a blue laser, please do this in the right board or with PM to the user.

Harald
