Post by djwacko » Tue 28 Dec, 2004 1:46 pm

hi,

i have a 37mw green dpss laser, but the driver only has ttl modulation, i want to know if is possible to make a new driver or change the orriginal driver to have analog modulation. or can i just change the input voltage of the driver.

Hi,

i don't know which driver you're using but i think you should buy a driver with analog modulation or try to find plans to build one. With changing the input voltage you won't change the output current in a way you'll like ;)
Cause it's the sense of such a driver to limit and stabilize the output current..
Best possibility is to use google and search for analog drivers for dpss.

So long,
happy new year,

Franklin
