Just to understand how concrete reacts to high temperature.
I made this little trial : a small piece of concrete is for some seconds placed under a 100W CO2 laser beam. Temperature is growing up to more than 1000°C ... and a hole is drilling slighly inside the concrete ... as it were in butter !
Just imagine the effect of a high temperature corium on the same material ...
