When you see the price of a blu-ray diode and a collimator.
It'll be difficult,now,to find customers here !

another reason why no one is going to use BR diodes now, is the fact that these diodes are way to dangerous to use.
Just ask yourself why those big companies which are Medialas, Arctos, LPS, Lobo don't use any blueray diode? It's just to dangerous to use. that's all.

@Richu,
nice to hear my own Words from another Laserist with longer experience.
But every Day People see and hear here from "RGBray" Lasers which are cheap and easy to build.
We all notice that also Chinese Companys starts selling theese Lasers for little Money but we
can be happy that they only use 200mW and their Scannermirrors dont reflect much 405nm.
But i also need to correct you: Arctos startet his Projectors with >500mW 405nm a longerTime ago.
But sure, today he also dont use 405nm any more.

Re: 150mW 405nm le blu-rayon de Bleu-Violet la Diode Laser
we are hopefully a small bunch of people here who are aware of the very dim borderline between carcinogenic ionising UV light and bluray laser diodes
of course 405nm is 10nm away from UV-A, but hell, does nature make some distinction in that order? and, in magnitude order, what is 200mW of 405nm light in front of sunlight UV? (maybe even 1.000 times more intense and concentrated?)
so yes, we are a few to be concerned about that
