ALC60X Power Supply

Anyone know where to get a copy of the schematics for a 60X power supply? I pretty much have it completely traced out myself (the PWM card is not too easy!), but would prefer a neat copy. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Wayne,<P>you might try Sam's Laserfaq, he has the schematics for the Omnichrome-PSU, which is pretty the same as the original ALC60-PSU.<BR><A HREF="http://www.laserfaq.de/laserasc.htm#ascom1" TARGET=_blank>Omnichrome 150R Power Supply</A><P>Hope that helps,<P>gunnaR

hi wayne, do you wanna rebuilt this supply or do you only want the ALC to lase. If you want THAT you can easily build another PowerSupply from Sams FAQ, e.g. the one named SG-IY.You can find the schematics <A HREF="http://www.kellerstudio.de/repairfaq/sam/sgiypsch.gif" TARGET=_blank>here</A>.At <A HREF="http://www.kellerstudio.de/repairfaq/sam/laserasc.htm" TARGET=_blank>this site</A> you will find another examples for ALC60x. Gunnar,<P>The OmniChrome head and ALC60X heads are almost identical, however the PSUs are quite different. I actually emailed Sam and he wants a copy of MY schematic whenI get done with it...lol. It's a long process. I di find some bad switching transistors. Might have been the problem, but you always have to ask why did they blow?

Rolf,<P>Would love it if you were able to email the schematics.<P>Libo,<P>Yeah, I have the SG series of schematics and am thinking of going that route. I'm pretty sure the head is good so would just want to get it lasing. I also have a 2201-15SLB head that I could power from a homebuilt PSU.

What kinda PSU do you have Gold Box, Linear or FET... I have redrawn the entire Linear Schematic for the Control Card in Visio.. also that control card is the same for 60x and 68's
