Hallo

Patrick

Re: Projektionszonen
Hello Martin,
Thanks for the comments. Regarding your first point, I am afraid that I really don't understand what you are talking about. I am sure that this is because of my extremely limited knowledge of the German language. However, if you can please explain your question in greater detail, and perhaps provide some examples, then I will try to help you.
Regarding your second point, this seems a little strange. On the "Defaults" tab, you can press a SAVE button which will save the settings into a zone file. If you do this, it SHOULD remember the settings. That being said, I did recently discover a bug that changed some of the settings under rare circumstances. Perhaps you are running into this bug. This has been fixed and there will be a new version coming out with this fix, as well as lots of new features. I think that you will like the next release!!
Bill
Re: Projektionszonen
Hello Bill
Thanks for Reply. I´ll try to explain my problems in english.
The first thing is. I´d like to use a kind of movinghead with a pair of Scanners built in. The movinghead is controlled via DMX from the LD2000.
So i can write DMX Frames (and use them with live...) for controlling the Moving Head to direct the scanners into the right position. For Example a Laser Screen, the beamshow zone...
But i want to use the Projection Zones from LD to do this. When selecting the Beamshow Zone for example it would be nice when the Movinghead turns to this position.

The sceond Problem was that the Data from the Projection Zones sometimes where Lost when i had rebooted the Computer. I know the "save" Button, so that is´nt the problem. It isn´t a big problem, cause it doesnt happens often.

Hope you can read my bad english
Greetings from Austria
Martin

Re: Projektionszonen
Hello Martin,
Thanks for the excellent explanation. Now I see what you mean.
It sounds like you want the Projection Zones to essentially automatically stear the motorized DMX head to the correct location. Is this correct?Currently, this does not happen and in fact, it might be necessary to build in special support for these moving heads. This special support might actually somehow be different from projection zones.
Since any graphic (or abstract or raster) frame can also be a DMX frame, it seems like it is possible to make frames that automatically stear the DMX moving head the the preferred location. Simultaneously, you can assign a preferred projection zone to the frame. A bit tedious, but it would work.
Can I ask who's DMX head it is that you are using? I might be able to acquire one so that I can develop further support for this.
Please contact me directly by email at bill@pangolin.com. Maybe we can work together to come up with a good solution.
Bill
