Winamp LVS Plugin auf LineIn / Mic ???

Hallo,

unter http://www.lasers.org/content.php?hpage=lvs ist zu lesen, daß das LVS Plugin auch auf Basis des LineIn oder Mikrophoneingangs arbeiten kann. Weiß jemand, wie man das anstellt?

1. Winamp starten.
2. "Play Location..." (Strg+L) auswählen.
3. "linein://" in die Dialogbox eingeben.
4. Play drücken.

Jo, Danke - so funktioniert es. Nur schade, daß das Plugin während der Pausen kein Blanking macht

By the way freaks,

I have been working with Justin Frankel, the guy who wrote WinAmp and also wrote many plugins including AVS which is in my opinion, the mother of all visualization plugins. With my input and the help of Rob Mudryk, Justin has created a brand new plugin for laser called AVS/Laser. This works just like the AVS plugin for Winamp, only it outputs to LD2000. This is totally cool and much better than LVS. We will be showing this at Rimini, but we will also be releasing it on our web site and probably it will be available on Winamp.com as well.

@Matze: Sorry, I don't know what eigendlich means. Can you rephrase your question?

@Gunnar: Sorry, but the new Winamp plugin called AVS/Laser will not work with the QM32. The reason is because this one was designed specifically for LD2000. It has some special code to automatically startup the QM2000 board, load the default settings, palettes, zones, etc. It also contains the latest ProjectionZone technology so it can work with multiple scanners simultaneously.

I am afriad the the only similar plugin that works with the QM32 is the LVS plugin available in lasers.org. This one works with QM32 or QM2000, but it will not start a session, load settings or anything else. Also, LVS is not nearly as capable as AVS/Laser. And finally, since the QM32 is ISA based, it is much slower than the QM2000 and real time programs like LVS are somewhat jerky.

For those with a QM32, I really do recommend that you upgrade to the LD2000 system. When you consider that 95% of original QM32 users have already upgraded, and the fact that there are SOOOOOOO many new tools with the LD2000 system, this is really the best way to go.

Also habe das einfach mal so gemacht wie du das da geschrieben hast, aber dan spielt der das gar nicht ab.

Hmm, komisch, bei mir geht es so. Bist Du sicher, dass ein Signal am Linein anliegt und der Mixer auch aufgezogen ist und der Kanal nicht auf Mute steht? Bei Einigen Soundkarten muss man den Linein auch als Recorder auswählen, dazu gibt es dann entweder noch mehr Knöpfe im Mixer oder ein extra Tool.

Hi!

Ja am Eingang habe ich ein Signal. Und Creativ Recorder habe ich einen Ausschlag. Also das tuts schonmal. Nur wenn ich auf Play drücke läuft der für ca. 0,25sec und stopt direckt wieder. Vieleicht liegts auch an der Version, ich habe 2.71. Etwas alt vieleicht.

gibt es denn kein plugin oder programmerweiterung für qm 32, damit man auch wie bei winamp musikgesteuerte shows abspielen kann?
also nicht musiksynchron SONDERN so, dass pangolin ohne vorgefertigte frames oder so wie diese winamp "effekt-bilder" seine show spielt? also über externes mikrophon oder line in?

@BlackMesa: So gehts leider nicht. Meines Wissens läuft das Plugin nur auf der QM2000 (bin aber nicht 100% sicher). Auf jeden Fall solltest du die Qm2000 der alten QM32 vorziehen. Coole und zukünftige Plugins und Programme werden wohl nur noch auf der QM2000 laufen.

Die QM2000 kann keine eigenen Shows erzeugen (bis auf Figuren aus dem Abstract Generator - Lissajous, Wellen etc.). Alles andere beruht auf der Animation von erstellten Frames. Auch das aktuelle Winamp Plugin arbeitet so. Starte das mal, laß es laufen, beende es und starte dann LD2000 oder Showtime und du wirst die Frames im Speicher sehen.
Prinzipiell ist es natürlich möglich, aus einem Plugin heraus Frames zu generieren, inwiefern da sinnvolles bei rauskommt weiß ich nicht. Man muß halt als Programmierer irgendwie eine Routine zur Frameerzeugung schreiben.

Soweit ich weiß, kommt demnächst ein neues Winamp Plugin - zumindest hatte Mr. Benner das mal erwähnt...

PS: Wenn du ne fertige Lasershow aus Musik haben willst kann ich nur zur Lasercrab und zum ELV Akustikmodulator raten - LOL. Oder aber du fängst das Programmieren an! Wenn ich doch nur damals bei FFT aufgepasst hätte...

mal sehen, erst hol ich mir wohl mal das qm 32 weil es billiger ist. das ist auf jeden fall mal besser als nix oder der laser show editor, der immer abstürzt <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

Das bisher verfügbare Plugin von Robert Mudryk (rMuD) läuft auf beiden Karten.
Man muss da sowieso aufpassen, im Download gibt es zwei Plugins, das LVS (gut) und das Vis_rMuD (älter und hat nicht all die Effekte die im LVS drin sind).
Das von Bill Benner angesprochene neue Plugin ist ein anderes und ds soll dann nur auf der QM2000 laufen.

@all: Helft das Forum strukturiert zu halten, hier im Thread mischen sich gerade viele Themen. Besonders die Frage von BM wäre einen neuen Topic wert gewesen wenn man schon die Pangolin Website nicht mal anschaut.

Also ich würde mir nur wegen des Plugin keine QM32 Karte kaufen! Dieses Plugin ist in meinen Augen fürautonome Lasershow NUR dann zu gebrauchen, wenn die Musik permanent läuft. Der absolute Nachteil des Plugins besteht darin, daß es in Musikpausen ungezähmt weiterläuft! Ich würde da eine ruhige Welle oder ein Abschalten der Ausgabe bevorzugen!

Yes it is true that the new plugin will be released shortly on our web site and our installation CDs. The works is actually all done, including a great help file and lots of example Presets. I just need to put it on the web.

Regarding line in, the new plugin definitely supports this, but it requires Winamp to be configured properly using the LineIn input plugin. I really don't know much about this so maybe you can find help in a winamp forum at www.winamp.com

Regarding the older QM32, as I said earlier in this thread, the new plugin will only work with the QM2000 for a variety of reasons. For the older QM32 systems, you can use the older LVS plugin found at [url=http://www.lasers.org,]www.lasers.org,[/url] but this is not nearly as powerful and there is no support for this plugin.
