Is there interest in an inexpensive audio card based DAC?

I have written a driver that allows use of an audio card DAC with any software that supports easylase (LDS, HE-laserscan, etc.). Has anyone else built an audio card DAC, or would be interested in an inexpensive audio card DAC solution?
