Hi,
check out Sam's Laser FAQ:
https://www.photonlexicon.com/laserfaq/laseraps.htm
Most of the small Argon Ion Lasers are very similar, the filament voltage is between 2.5 and 3 volts ac with 25 amps, and the anode voltage is around 100v (90-110v) dc with max 10-12 amp. tube current.
It's possible to build your own P/S easily with modern parts.
You can find some hints how to do that, if you search for some ALC60X circuit diagrams.
Please share your experiences with us.
Cheers
Mike

Hello Mike
Thank God , I get it to work . I used an old PC power supply for the filament ( conencted the 3.2V ), Also I put 2 50v DC power supplies in series and connected the -ve to the filament and the igniter ground and the +ve to the ingiter +ve connection . After I supplied the filament with 3.2v for about a min. I switched on the 2 power supplies and then the laser worked

Do you believe I got this laser for 400EGP which is 8 US dollars
Thanks anyway
Amr

Don't forget the aircooling of the tube. The laserhead has top oder side-fans to get the heat away.
