635 nM from eBay and other problems.

Hi all,

At first I'd like to give an excuse for my writing on German Language section, to Moderators and all of You but English section looks dead. :(

I got few questions to profesjonalists :)

I bought this module : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/635nm-Orange- ... 1c21885552

If that power will be true, so how big power of 532 nM and 445 nM do I need to build "cold white" RGB ?

Where and how expensive I can buy Galvos M 6008 or EMS 2000 ?
I have set of K 12 N - they are nice but this time I'd like to try other "Low cost galvos"

Do You know any cheap DAC typically for amateurs ? (Excluding the Popelscan  )

Thanks for any help and once again sorry for mess ;)

AFAIK those very cheap red china modules have very fat beams with bad divergence and won't fit on most galvo-mirrors.
TTL is also crap, for showlaser purpose you need driver with analog modulation.
I'd recommend to gain more knowledge and build something better.
www.photonlexicon.com is an english showlaser forum where you also can find some help.

I don't expecting nothing special but maybe it will no so bad. I bought this module because I was curious the difference between 655 nM and 635 nM and the bargain was nice. ;)

Thanks for that link I'll take "loonger look" on that at free time ;)

...So wich make of laser modules could You recommend for amateur ?
Coherent, Kvat or Swiss-Las are too expensive for me... :(

I thought about set-up like that : 160 mW 635 nM + 70 mW 532 nM + 300 mW 445 nM
Galvo : M6008 or other low cost scanners.

What do You think about this set-up ?

Kind of driver modulation depends from pirces of DAC's... :/ I'm waiting for e-mails with prices...
Analog driver is not too hard to build... ;)
