Hello has all
I makes party of the French forum of laserfreak under the pseudo yaya34
I use a translator for official statement with you, excused to me of this English not too signal
I comes from bought HE laserscan 2008, I have that sources in TTL, a green of 250mw and a red multi source of 900mw, and impossible to have all the powers of my sources, in spite of the multiple assistance of my French colleges
I parameterized in the software functions TTL, but nothing also made, when I makes a test of correction of colors, I notch there, laser CW mode, and I have the full power, but the software does not keep this parameter,
my question:
How to make to have all the power of the lasers, the weather has to you it a function special, a parameter, a manipe has to be particular
here my post, the manufacture of my laser:
http://www.laserfreak.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42999
and here the problem encountered in the software HE laserscan

I ask for your assistance
thank you for your attention my problem has
and thank you for your answers

Could you ask one of your French guys to translate it in correkt english or german, please? I don't understand what you are meaning...
There is no HE-Laserscan 2008, on the one side HE-Laserscan (Version 3.xx) OR [censored]-Showeditor...

Hello yaya,
my english is not the best, so i hope you will understand me. Your translation is also nearly a mystey for me
so i try to write a Answer.
If you use TTL Laser, its not necessary to use the Collor Correction tool.
Easy Sett the TTL option. Its not possible to improve the laseroutput more.
You talk abought CW Mode (CW = Continous wave..... the laser is lightning permanent)
certainly the laseroutput is much more, if you use CW Mode. But this option CW Mode is only for Collor correction to find out the Differences in White ballance in CW Mode and modulated mode.
Showlasers ALWAYS will be modulated (Blanked) ! Because this, its illogical to save the "CW" Mode for Laser settings
If you want to use CW Mode, easy connect all your laser drivers to 5 Volt potential.
may be i do not understand your question. So please tell me if i am wrong.
now i will try to explain the ttl mode of Software.
TTL Inputs switch on the lasers at 2,5 Volts modulation voltage. But some Shows have very dark figures and the DAC output values are lower than 2,5 Volts. So if the modulation is very low, the laser is dark.
To avoid this, i implemented the TTL Mode. So if the brightness of Show is a little bit more than zero (1 of 255 at 8Bit value), the DAC output will be switched to full output (5 Volt)
OK?
best regards
Erich

hai hai
@ Georg,
ich denke er redet über den Showeditor 2008..... Wenn man mal seine bilder im franz. Forum ansieht... da is so manch bekannter Laser mit bekanntem Aufkleber zu sehen
Showeditor 2008 == HE Laserscan 3.7.G

i've made a better translation ( I hoppe

).
Hello everybody
I'm from the french part of the forum and my name is Yaya34
I've just buy He-laserscan 2008, I only use TTl sources, one 250mw green and a multi diode red around 900mw, and it's impossible to get the full power from my sources in a show or even making a simple square or point. Despite of the help from the french part of the forum I can't find why is not working as it should.
I've configured my sources as TTL in the setup fonction of the sofware, when i test whith the colour correction tools I get the full power, but the sofware don't keep the setup.
here is my question:
How can I do to get the full power from my sources, is there any special tune to set up, or fonction or a changing to make in the .ini file?
You can see here my post on my own make laser system:
http://www.laserfreak.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42999
Here are the answer from my friend of the french part of the forum:

I need your help please. thanks for the time you spend on my problem and thank you for your answers.

I think, Erich explained it clearly and easy to understand:
For TTL-lasers there exists NO colour-correction!
How should it work if you can only switch the laser on or off???
To the power of the lasers: I think it is also clear that the power of DPSS-lasers will be less on modulation than in CW-mode.

maybe it may help but on the french part he has explained that when he draws a continuous symbol the level on the ilda output is only 2.32v (i think ha made the measurement with a multimeter not an oscilloscope)

Hi,
is this the output from DAC or the input to the driver?
2,32V @ the DAC can be OK. 2,32V @ driver-input is a problem, you need an ilda-adapter to convert the +-2,5V to +5V.
The difference between 2,32V and 2,5V is most often a problem from older DAC´s.
Sorry for my bad english.
best regards
Oliver

Hello,
if you want to measure the ILDA Output, you MUST USE a Osziloscope!!!
a Multimeter will measure the average voltage of the ON and OFF Times !!!! So you will never find a 5Volt output! (exept from the Collor Correction tool, when you swich into CW Mode).
EVERY Laser Show Scanning Output hase always Laser ON and laser OFF times, also a closed figure like a square or a circle.
To see the blanked (not visible) galvo paths, open your Options, select "Collor Correction" and select the option "Show blanked lines"...
now you will see every galvopath, also the hidden paths.
best regards
