Hallo Laserfreaks,
ich bin auf eine recht komplette Beschreibung der relevanten Parameter (z.B. Divergenz, M^2 Faktor etc..) für Laser gestossen:

http://www.rp-photonics.com/beam_quality.html

Vielleicht auch für euch mal interessant, wenn man mehr über seinen Laser wissen will.

Grüße!
Ulli

very completed artcle !
befor i read it , i often distured by the "M ~2" , didn't have a clear concept about it !
a question , for dpss red laser , the diameter often bad than blue and green , is that the red have more bigger "M~2" factor ??

best regards
Allison

sorry , a little mistake !
i know the red such as 635nm is collimation by LD itself !
i want to know if the fat diameter of red have some realtionship with the "M~2" factor !

regards

Of coarse the M^2-factor has a relationship to the beam-diameter:

M^2=3.14156*divergence*beamdiameter/wavelength

It is very clear explained in the article linked above...
