Hi,
I have Argon laser Spectra-Physics model 2020.
Light is emitting but power supply is noisy and it is coming up with error code 59
I am not sure how stable light output is.
Manual describe that passbank voltage is out of regulation!!
If you have some suggestion or schematic it will be greatly appreciated!

Hi,
Tube is in underpressure, so the voltage over the passbank is to high.
Lower the input Voltage 5% or let the tube refill.
Check the anode side of the tube if there is ae hot spot it will kill the tube by time, because the underpressure.

It was always connected @208V here in Canada, I am not an expert can you provide me more details or we can get in touch over the phone,
Lowering current I can avoid error code 59 but slowly will come up with 73 error
I did some fine alignment behind the unit there is now plenty of light! But still error codes L
Water flow is OK

Hi,
here in Germany we have to use a transforer to get 208V.
Your laser is slowly dying without a refill of the high vacuum argon gas.
The to high voltage is only one effect causing by this problem, there are to many hours on the tube.
