hello Coolio, nice that an american HipHopper joined the Laserfreak Board:-)))(".....gangsta´s paradise....lalala")
First of all, it is only possible with a D/A that converts the signals and it is the simplest way to control Laser scanners. You need a D/A Card called DAI8, it has a resolution of 8x8Bit(if you need the schematics mail to CoolLibo@web.de), the software for the card you can download in the download section. It´s called "scanplus Evolution". Either you can go this way (VERY cheap) or you can buy laserpainter at www.medialas.de!This Profisoft is "quite" cheap and you will get a 12Bit D/A0 card with blanking output (as far as I know) fitting to the soft! I wonder if you know thatyou need scanners with the fitting drivers called GALVOS.You can use CATWEAZLE LC1 that you can buy for nearly 300$ in used condition (incl. Drivers, but without blanking). With that Scanset you can create nice Beamshows, but for Graphic show they´ll be tooooo slow and you should better spend your money for a GS120 scanset incl. blanking. This will cost about 1000 - 1500$ depending on the store / seller! You should have a look at EBAY.DE or EBAY.COM!
Hope, I could have helped you.....Joerg
PS: sorry for my bad english, but it was a few years ago, I had english at school :-)))
